New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey Thursday morning to announce the opening of the company 's first official New York office.
Although New York is likely, as a statement from the city reminds us, "the Largest developer population outside of California in the nation, " we have a feeling it 's not Twitter engineers must hopes to reach out to from its new East Coast headquarters.

The company 's new headquarters are located at 340 Madison Avenue (the former address or Facebook ' s NYC office space), in close proximity to potential advertising clients.
New York is the city with the most Twitter users in the world, says Dorsey.
